How to Use Deal Folders for successful Campaigns

Most influencer platforms will drive you to use a Google Drive folder to upload and share draft work like WIP scripts or v1 edits of videos before they can be posted live. But MOGL knows that multi-platform use can be confusing and actually lead to poor quality content.

Because of this, MOGL automatically creates a Deal Folder for each Athlete <> Brand deal and can be found in the My Deals > Deal Details > Deal Folder section.

Here's what a single-deliverable deal folder looks like after the Athlete has confirmed their availability:

Each deliverable can have up to 5 files associated with it - so there is plenty of room for multiple brainstorm docs, scripts, and videos. Better yet, each file can be up to 250 MBs so video files don't have to be scaled down.

How do I use the Deal Folder to review draft content?

Once draft content is uploaded to the deal folder (Brand or Athlete can do this), then that content gets the status Needs Approval

Clicking Review then opens up the Review Modal which has it's own comment stream to share conversational feedback

Once there is alignment on feedback, the Brand can Request Revision and include the consolidated feedback in the modal

This content is then sent back to the Athlete and the status of the file moves to Revision Requested. The Athlete then can upload a file with the requested revisions by replacing the initial file, which moves the status of the file back to Needs Approval. Now the Brand can approve the file, letting the Athlete know its okay to post the final content.

What are the statuses of the files?

Each file has 5 potential statuses: Awaiting Upload, Needs Approval, Revision Requested, File Approved, and Voided

These statuses don't impact the state of the actual deliverable.

Once a deliverable is approved, all files associated with that deliverable become approved
Once a deliverable is voided, all files associated with that deliverable become voided

How this works with the Messaging System

Deal Folders are fully integrated with the messaging system so all revisions and approvals also flow through it. And clicking on the preview of the file in the message opens the deal folder / review modal directly in the message view - so you can easily keep the conversation going from your phone
