How to use the Duplicate Deals option

Duplicate Deal lets you start a new deal from one you already created. MOGL opens the deal-creation form with eligible details filled in from the original. Your original deal stays unchanged, and nothing is posted until you finish the normal Post Deal flow.

How do I duplicate a deal?

1. Go to My Deals.
2. Open the three-dot menu on the deal you want to reuse.
3. Select Duplicate.
4. Review the deal-creation form and update anything that should change for the new deal.
5. Set any required specific due dates and beginning dates again.
6. Complete Review, then click Post Deal.

Duplicate works on desktop and on mobile/responsive views.

Why is Duplicate disabled?

Until your first deal is approved, Duplicate stays visible but disabled. The tooltip explains: You can duplicate deals once your first deal is approved.

After that first approval, you can duplicate any of your accessible, non-deleted deals — including Voided deals and deals where athlete relationships were cancelled.

What gets copied into the new deal form?

Copied details

Most creation details are copied, including:

• Deal name and description
• Audience and visibility (public or invite only), including school-only visibility for University Partners — you can still change these before posting
• Number of people needed
• Point of contact name and email
• Criteria
• Deliverable names, descriptions, deliverable types, and relative timing settings
• Cash compensation amounts (when cash is used)
• Brand-added attachments (when they copy successfully)
• Short-term / long-term deal type
• Proof of Work setting

Not copied

• Applicants, invitations, hires, contracts, payments, messages, or analytics
• Specific deliverable due dates and beginning dates (you must set new ones)
• Record IDs and deal history

Plan-dependent fields

Some fields only copy if they are included in your current subscription — not the plan you had when the original deal was created. Examples include exclusivity, screening questions, product/free-product compensation, and extra deliverables beyond your plan limit.

What warnings might I see?

If everything copies cleanly, you will see: Deal duplication successful.

Otherwise you may see orange warnings such as:

• Free Produ ctcompensation for deliverables is no longer part of your subscription so wasn't copied over
• Specific due dates for your deliverables weren't duplicated. Please set them again
• Beginning due dates for your deliverables weren't duplicated. Please set them again
• Some fields weren’t duplicated because they aren’t included in your current plan.
• {fileName} failed to duplicate. Please attach a new version directly

If duplication fails before the form opens, stay on My Deals and try again in a moment.

What happens when I post a duplicated deal?

• Review stays locked until required fields are complete, including who can see your deal.
• Duplicate does not require a payment method up front. If you need to add one at Post, MOGL opens the payment details modal. Saving a card does not post the deal by itself.
• After a subscription upgrade, your filled-in form is kept — click Post Deal

How does Duplicate work with Starter and multiple active deals?

On Starter (one active deal at a time), you can still open Duplicate and fill out the form. The limit is checked when you click Post Deal.

If you already have an active deal that counts toward the limit, MOGL may ask you to upgrade to Professional or Elite, or wait until your active deal no longer counts.

A deal stops counting toward that limit when it is Completed, Voided, or in Payment Request with at least one deliverable you have approved for payment.
