# What to know about Athlete-to-Athlete Messaging

## As an approved Athlete on MOGL, you can message other Athletes to team up on deals

With the release of iOS app v1.4.0, Athletes on MOGL can now message other Athletes via the Athlete Directory. We introduced this ability based on feedback from the MOGL community that Athletes wanted an easier way to coordinate "team up deals" on the platform, without having to slide into each other's IG DMs.

But with great power comes great responsibility - and with Athlete to Athlete messaging we are also introducing the ability to **Block** (and unblock) Athletes if conversations go south.

To block an Athlete simply tap Message \> Block \> Confirm Block and they will no longer be able to send you messages. To unblock, you have 2 options: 1) from within the message thread tap "unblock" or 2) go to Account \> Settings \> Manage Blocks \> Unblock.

Lastly, the ability to message other Athletes on the platform is restricted to Approved accounts - so if you are new and your account is still in review, you won't be able to enjoy this feature until your account is approved.
